Access for All

During School Year 25-26, breakfast and lunch will be free to all students in California under the Universal Meals Program!

Looking for meal access for your student? Click the link below to visit site Bell schedules: https://www.venturausd.org/about/bell-schedules
Please note the state meal mandate requires us to offer every student a breakfast and a lunch at no charge every day school is in session. Even when your child has a minimum/banking day, they are welcome to consume both breakfast and lunch at school. Food may not leave campus, the only exception being a planned and approved field trip during the school day. We appreciate your understanding of our responsibility to ensure that the food that is served to our students is safe.

We are committed to ensuring all students have access to safe, nutritions meals that meet their individual health needs. If your child has a medical condition, food allergy, or dietary restriction that requires meal modifications, please complete the appropriate accommodation form below.

Special Diet Accommodation Form

For students needing meal changes due to food allergies, intolerances, or medical conditions. Forms must be signed by a licensed medical provider or registered dietitian and submitted to the students’ School Nurse as well as the students’ Cafeteria Manager.

Milk Substitution Form

For students requesting a milk alternative due to a medical or dietary need. Milk substitution forms can be filled out by the student’s parent/guardian, and do not require a signature from a medical provider.

If you have questions or need help completing a form, please contact your student’s cafe manager by calling the school and using extension 1555. For more help, please contact our Food & Nutrition Services office at (805)-641-5000.
